To be provided with courteous, considerate care, as well as being treated with respect
To bring any dissatisfaction to the attention of the attending health professional or guest experience expert

Respect for privacy and confidentiality concerning treatment and medical records is paramount

To be informed of the effectiveness of treatment, and to know of possible risks, side effects or alternate methods of treatment

To know who is treating you
To refuse treatment, or to ask for a second opinion, or an alternative course of treatment, and to be informed of the medical consequences of your actions

To provide us complete and accurate information about their health, including previous medical history and all the medications the patient is taking
To inform us of changes in their condition or symptoms, including pain, asking questions and following instructions
To let us know if they don’t understand the information, we give them about their condition or treatment
To speak up. Communicate their concerns to any employee as soon as possible – including any member of the patient care team, manager, and administrator
To follow our instructions and advice, understanding that they must accept the consequences if they refuse To pay their bills or make arrangements to meet the financial obligations arising from their care
To follow our rules and regulations
To keep their scheduled appointments, or let us know if they are unable to keep them
To be considerate and cooperative
To respect the rights and property of others
To come accompanied to their appointment/surgery by an adult
