The Directorate General of Private Health Establishments of the Sultanate of Oman, in its annual awards ceremony to recognize excellence in the private healthcare arena in Oman, honoured Muscat Eye Laser Center with the Best Eye Clinic award for 2016, this was presented to Mr. Sameer Al Awam, CEO and co-founder of Muscat eye Laser Center (MELC). This is the latest in line of the many accolades that have been adorned on Muscat Eye Laser Center. Furthermore, our co-founder, Medical and Scientific Director, Dr. Maria Clara Arbelaez, an international authority on corneal and refractive surgeries, was awarded the Best Doctor in Private Sector for her sterling contributions to the advancement of eye care research.
The awards were received by the co-founders of Muscat Eye Laser Center in the presence of His Excellency Dr. Sultan Bin Yarub Al Busaidi , Health Affairs Advisor at the Ministry of Health, as the Chief Guest and Dr. Mazin Al Khabori, DGPHE Director General.
